Information for Parents & Guardians

The program is open to students currently in grades 8–12. No prior business or entrepreneurship experience is required.

The cost is $500, which covers housing, meals, instruction, and activities. A $50 registration fee is due upon acceptance. Scholarships are available to help with camp fees and housing.

Students live in secure University of Arizona residence halls with trained staff and undergraduate mentors supervising them.

All meals are served in the university dining halls or catered in. We can accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions.

Program staff, undergraduate mentors, and faculty coordinators are on-site 24/7. Students are never unsupervised during the program.

Students attend workshops in the morning, work in teams and visit local businesses in the afternoon, and enjoy mentorship or fun activities in the evenings. The week concludes with a “Shark Tank”-style pitch competition where parents are invited.

Students should bring clothing for a week-long stay, toiletries, a notebook, and optionally a laptop (helpful but not required). A full packing list will be provided after acceptance.

Yes. Phones are allowed for personal use, and laptops are encouraged for project work, but not mandatory.

The university can accommodate many special needs, including dietary restrictions. In case of illness or emergencies, staff are trained to respond, and medical care is available on campus.

Parents/Guardians drop off students on Sunday afternoon and pick them up on Friday afternoon following the final pitch competition.
